Improved draft now online

Most of the feedback is now incorporated, especially:
  • cleaner API for creating instances of Jython objects
  • code examples greatly simplified
  • agenda improved
  • list of books improved
  • English proof reading by Gustaf Hansen (thanks a lot, Gustaf!)
In summary, the flow of the presentation appears much clearer to me.
Now I really hope that I will be allowed to improve the slides for the conference, too.

Still missing or incomplete:
  • Why Jython / Python ?
  • Using Java objects from Jython

Feedback appreciated

Thanks for the great feedback !

The two main points to improve are:
  • Why Jython ?
  • Provide less and clearer code (on the slides).
In particular, an API in the "Class.forName() / newInstance()" style for interface pulling would be great.

If you'd like to review, and haven't been invited, please mail me to get a review ticket.

First version of the JavaOne talk is ready

Wow, this was a lot of work, much more than expected.
But still there is room for improvement.
